We implement technological, physical and administrative procedures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal information. We encrypt information sent via the Tonse services to and from your Tonse equipment.
Although we endeavour to keep information secure, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent every unauthorized attempt to access, use or disclose personal information. We maintain procedures to deal with any suspected breach of personal information, and we will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
Your Privacy Rights
You may have legal rights to access, update, or erase certain personal information that we have about you, or restrict or object to how we use it. For your security, we may need to request specific information from you to help us make sure the request is coming from you and not someone who has no right to receive it.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 16. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will promptly take steps to delete that information. Data Retention
We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it has been collected or any longer retention period required by law. Tonse account information is generally retained for the life of the account +2 years, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing personal information to third parties, since any personal information disclosed will be subject to the applicable third party’s privacy policy.
